You want to believe it. I want to believe it. Isiah Thomas will finally be kicked to the curb. A new era of Knicks basketball will be upon us. A new sheriff will ride into town and start cleaning house. Around this time next year, we could actually be watching the Knicks instead of ignoring them and waiting for them to go away. That would be something. We can close our eyes and see it. You would think that this would be the chain of events.

Eddy Curry scored 28 points and tipped in a miss with 0.6 seconds left to give the New York Knicks a 94-93 victory on Wednesday night. Steve Francis added 24 points for the Knicks, who snapped a five-game losing streak and avoided their second straight 50-loss season.
